With his mentorship, Tropical Thunder shifted from buyers to full-on cultivators—taking on the complex, rewarding challenge of living soil growing indoors. Tropical Thunder might’ve started small, but their flowers have been making big waves in Thailand’s cannabis scene.

In 2024, their standout hybrid Miami Mami took home 1st Place in the Hybrid Category at the Budtender Cannabis Cup—a major event judged by working budtenders from some of the top dispensaries in the country. The competition was stacked, but Miami Mami stood out with its unique lemon-gas profile, smooth smoke, and balanced high.

The following year, in 2025, they earned 2nd Place Overall at the Phuket Cannabis Cup, solidifying their spot as one of the most respected small-batch indoor cultivators in the game.
