Lobster Cup 2025 was hosted by High Society Cannabis Club Thailand & The Bangkok Bogeys Golf Club

Golf enthusiasts and cannabis lovers came together for a memorable day at the Lobster Cup 2025. Organized by High Society Cannabis Club in collaboration with The Bangkok Bogeys Golf Club, the tournament drew 62 excited players to the beautiful greens of Lakewood Links in Bangkok.

Scramble Golf: Game Rules Made Simple

Players were split into two spirited teams: the Reds and the Blues. The game adopted the scramble format, offering a friendly yet competitive twist. In this style, every player tees off, and the team collectively chooses the best shot to continue play. Each player hits from that spot again, making sure every member contributes their skills, fostering teamwork and camaraderie.

Each matchup earned points—1 point for a win and 0.5 points each for a tie—keeping every game significant to the overall team score.

Special highlight holes added extra excitement to the day:

Hole 14 (Longest Drive, sponsored by New Barn Farms): Players showed off their power to claim the title for the day's longest drive.
Hole 16 (Nearest to the Pin, sponsored by Terps of Thailand): Precision and accuracy were tested, rewarding the player whose shot landed closest to the pin.
Hole 8 (Honesty Funnel): Hosted by Bangkok Bogeys, players who missed the island green got to enjoy the fun and froth of a shotgun-style beer funnel challenge.
Hole 16 (Activity area): Refreshing drinks kept everyone hydrated and ready to play. Special thanks here goes out to Red Bull, Suntree Beer, White Claw and OG Kratom.

The Evolution of High Society Golf Tournaments

High Society Cannabis Club Thailand has proudly organized Buds & Birdies golf tournament for two years now, marking the second successful event with Lobster Cup 2025. This year's tournament stood out as the most impressive yet, featuring a staggering 62 ambitious players and lots of fun.

The Lobster Cup 2025 also marked the first of hopefully many more collaborations between The Bangkok Bogeys Golf Club and High Society Cannabis Club. Bangkok Bogeys is a vibrant, fast-growing social golf club built on great people, unforgettable events, and a whole lot of personality.

Vibes on the Green

The atmosphere was everything you'd hope for in a golf tournament. Enthusiastic and competitive spirits played alongside laid-back participants who simply wanted to enjoy a leisurely day on the course, driving caddies around and laughing with friends.

Mother Nature played her part perfectly—cloudy skies kept temperatures comfortably cool, and a refreshing breeze made it ideal for golf. Even the timing was impeccable; players had barely finished their rounds when the skies opened up with a downpour, bringing a natural end to a fantastic day.
